MyWave.ai: SAP-Certified AI Agents for the Enterprise

Most AI agent platforms in the market today have not been certified by SAP under its BTP-EXT-GENAI “Built with SAP Business AI” program which is a valuable distinction, particularly for clients that are unable to access SAP Joule.

Under SAP’s April 2026 API Policy update, that distinction matters: AI-agent integration with SAP APIs is now restricted to SAP-endorsed architectures and pathways.

The MyWave.ai Agent Platform is SAP-certified on exactly that endorsed architecture, ready to deploy AI agents across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Business One today, with documented compliance to the new policy.

What SAP Certified the MyWave.ai Agent Platform On

In December 2025, SAP’s Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) certified the MyWave.ai Agent Platform under SAP’s BTP-EXT-GENAI program — Partner Application Built With SAP BTP and Utilizing Generative AI Hub. The certification is platform-level. SAP’s program scope explicitly covers technical integration and responsible AI criteria across three pillars:

  1. Reliable AI: deployment on SAP BTP runtime, use of the Generative AI Hub in SAP AI Core, use of BTP services per SAP Discovery Center, and adherence to SAP development guidelines including the BTP AI Development Guide.

  2. Responsible AI: adherence to SAP’s AI ethics principles and verified self-assessment per the SAP AI Ethics Handbook.

  3. Relevant AI: integration with SAP solutions via released APIs documented in the SAP Business Accelerator Hub, validated through end-to-end functional testing.

The end-to-end functional test was conducted on three Order-to-Cash agents (Sales Order from PO, Invoice Creation, Credit Memo Creation) — the smoke test under the Relevant AI pillar. The same certified architecture supports MyWave’s broader agent catalog.

The Certified Architecture

The MyWave.ai Agent Platform runs on SAP BTP (Kyma runtime), uses the Generative AI Hub in SAP AI Core, supports the SAP Cloud SDK for AI — the primary SDK SAP documents for building AI applications on BTP — and integrates with SAP solutions via released APIs from the SAP Business Accelerator Hub. The architecture covers SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP S/4HANA PCE, and SAP ECC, with SAP Cloud Connector for on-premise. This is the pro-code pathway documented in SAP’s AI Golden Path on the SAP Architecture Center.

‍Pro-Code Architecture, No-Code Experience

‍The MyWave.ai Agent Platform is certified on SAP’s pro-code Golden Path — the architecture SAP defines as endorsed for AI agents under the new API Policy. But customers don’t write code to use it. Agents are designed, configured, and deployed through MyWave’s Conversational Agent Builder, a no-code interface for business teams.

‍This is a meaningful differentiator versus other AI agent platforms aligned to enterprise architectures. Pro-code stacks — including Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock Agents, and similar developer-first platforms — require development teams to write, test, and maintain agent code, lengthening time-to-value and creating ongoing engineering cost. MyWave.ai gives customers the SAP compliance benefits of a certified pro-code architecture and the speed of a no-code experience.

SAP’s Endorsement

‍ ‍The press release announcing the certification carries an SAP-attributed quote, reviewed and approved by SAP Legal:

‍ ‍“SAP continues to expand its ecosystem of partners who are helping customers adopt SAP Business AI and drive innovation on SAP Business Technology Platform. The certification of the MyWave.ai Agentic Platform demonstrates interoperability with SAP Business AI and SAP BTP, including generative AI Hub in SAP AI Core. Solutions like MyWave.ai can help customers extend intelligent automation across their SAP landscapes, support business process execution, and accelerate their transformation journeys.”

‍Why This Matters Under SAP’s New API Policy

SAP’s April 2026 API Policy update restricts AI-agent integration with SAP APIs to “SAP-endorsed architectures, data services, or service-specific pathways”, and requires integrations to use published APIs documented in the SAP Business Accelerator Hub. The endorsed architectures are documented in the SAP Architecture Center and the AI Golden Path; the associated FAQs reference the Golden Path as the authoritative source.

The MyWave.ai certification meets both tests:

  • The architecture — Kyma on SAP BTP, Generative AI Hub in SAP AI Core, SAP Cloud SDK for AI — is the pro-code pathway SAP defines as endorsed.

  • The integration pattern — released APIs documented in the SAP Business Accelerator Hub — is the same API surface the new policy permits.

What This Means for the Enterprise

For enterprises navigating SAP’s new API Policy, the MyWave.ai Agent Platform offers a clear, certified path forward:

  • Certified, SAP-endorsed AI agents on day one. No architectural retrofit. No compliance gap.

  • Coverage across the full SAP landscape. AI agents that operate across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Business One — protecting installed-base value while enabling cloud migration.

  • What customers deploy is what SAP certified. Same Kyma runtime, same Generative AI Hub, same released APIs or via NetWeaver for SAP ECC.

  • Real business outcomes today. Agents that automate document-heavy, error-prone work across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and beyond — built on SAP’s endorsed Golden Path.

  • No-code agent creation, certified architecture. Business teams design and deploy agents through MyWave’s Conversational Agent Builder — no developers required, in contrast to Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock Agents, and other pro-code AI agent platforms.
