MyWave.ai Expands Leadership Team with Three Industry Veterans to Accelerate Agentic AI Growth

Three technology B2B and partner program executive hires bring deep SAP ecosystem, partner-led growth, and enterprise technology expertise as MyWave accelerates its growth through its global partner network

MyWave.ai, the leading Agentic AI execution platform for complex, regulated enterprises, today announced the strategic expansion of its executive leadership team with three appointments: Michael Romero as Chief Revenue Officer, Justin Battles as Chief Commercial Officer, and Patrick McAvoy as Chief Marketing and Partner Success Officer. Together, they bring more than seven decades of combined enterprise technology experience and a shared track record of scaling partner-led growth in industries where precision, compliance, and operational continuity are non-negotiable.

These appointments signal a deliberate move to build the leadership depth required to serve regulated industries at scale at a time when agentic AI is gaining traction in complex, regulated enterprises.

Manufacturers, life sciences companies, aerospace and defense organizations, and financial services firms face a common challenge: their most critical business processes span fragmented systems, operate under strict compliance requirements, and cannot tolerate the governance drift that comes with generic AI tools. MyWave was built specifically for that environment.

Where most AI platforms assist—accelerating individual tasks or generating recommendations—MyWave’s platform executes. Its agents interpret intent, navigate multi-system workflows, enforce governance policy at the moment of execution, and close transactions autonomously, within the compliance boundaries each industry demands. That distinction is not incremental. It represents a fundamentally different architecture for how AI operates inside a regulated enterprise.

MyWave’s growth is driven through a network of global partners, including global systems integrators and enterprise channel partners. These partners deploy and extend the platform through MyWave’s Innovation Hub—a no-code environment that enables them to build, configure, and go to market with industry-specific AI agents across their client bases.

The three executives joining or recently joining MyWave’s leadership team are each equipped to deepen and accelerate that partner-led model.

“The leadership team we are building reflects the scale of the opportunity in front of us,” said Geraldine McBride, Co-founder and CEO, MyWave. “Regulated industries are under enormous pressure to modernize operations without compromising compliance or control. Michael, Justin, and Patrick each bring the depth of experience and the partner ecosystem relationships needed to make MyWave the platform that solves that problem at enterprise scale. Together, this team is built to take MyWave from category creator to category leader.”

Executive Leadership Profiles

Michael Romero — Chief Revenue Officer

Romero joins MyWave with more than two decades of enterprise technology experience, including a distinguished track record of scaling billion-dollar practices and executing high-stakes turnarounds for private equity-backed organizations—many of them operating in the complex, regulated environments where SAP is the system of record.

Most recently, Romero served as CEO and Board Member of The Evanston Group, where he orchestrated a turnaround that transformed three years of consecutive losses into 75 percent revenue growth, culminating in a successful exit for shareholders.

Prior to that, as SVP of the Global SAP Digital Transformation Practice at HCL Tech, he led a struggling practice to full recovery in three years, earning recognition as a Gartner Industry Leader and winning SAP’s Pinnacle Award for Digital Transformation Global Partner of the Year.

Earlier, Romero launched HCL Tech’s Digital & Analytics Division from the ground up, achieving $40 million in first-year revenue and growing the enterprise to more than $1 billion in annual recurring revenue.

As CRO, Romero leads MyWave’s global go-to-market strategy and revenue operations, with a focus on scaling the company’s partner-led distribution model and expanding its reach across regulated industries—particularly the large installed base of SAP customers navigating AI adoption under compliance constraints.

“Agentic AI represents a fundamental shift in how enterprises interact with their core systems—maximizing productivity, reducing operational cost, and freeing people to do the work that actually requires human judgment,” Romero said. “What sets MyWave apart is that it was built for the environments where that shift is hardest to make: regulated industries, complex multi-system landscapes, organizations where governance isn’t optional. SAP runs the back office for most of those businesses, and MyWave’s ability to deploy production agents across both on-premises and cloud SAP environments—today, without waiting on a migration—makes it uniquely positioned for where the market actually is. I’m here to help scale what this team has built.”

Justin Battles — Chief Commercial Officer

Battles brings one of the deepest partner ecosystem resumes in the enterprise technology channel to MyWave. Over a 20-year career at SAP, he built and managed relationships with the world’s largest global systems integrators and strategic technology partners—driving co-innovation and joint go-to-market programs across SAP’s most critical channel relationships. That work required both sustained executive relationship management and the operational rigor to translate partnership agreements into measurable, repeatable revenue.

Before his tenure at SAP, Battles held senior roles at IBM and Coca-Cola Enterprises, giving him a cross-industry perspective on how large, complex organizations adopt and scale enterprise technology through partner networks. That background is directly applicable to the regulated industries MyWave serves, where technology adoption decisions involve procurement, legal, compliance, and operations, and where trusted partner relationships are often the deciding factor.

At MyWave, Battles leads corporate business development and ecosystem strategy, working with global partners to expand the Innovation Hub marketplace, build partner-ready go-to-market programs, and accelerate adoption of Agentic AI across regulated industries. His relationships within the global partner community position MyWave to scale through the channel relationships that already have established credibility with enterprise buyers.

“The enterprises that need this most, including manufacturers, life sciences companies, and financial services firms, are also the ones that are hardest to reach without the right partners,” Battles said. “They require partners who understand their industry, their compliance environment, and their operational constraints. My focus is on making sure the right partners are equipped to bring MyWave into those conversations with confidence and credibility.”

Patrick McAvoy — Chief Marketing and Partner Success Officer

McAvoy joins MyWave with 30 years of enterprise technology marketing experience spanning partner ecosystem strategy, category positioning, and AI-driven marketing operations. He brings a distinctive combination of executive marketing leadership and partner channel expertise that is directly aligned to MyWave’s partner-first growth strategy.

Most recently, McAvoy served as EVP and CMO of Dynamic Campus, a technology managed services organization with more than 300 employees, where he drove nearly three times the company’s historical compound annual growth rate and led the organization through a successful private equity exit. In that role, he pioneered AI-driven marketing operations that delivered 300 to 500 percent productivity gains without incremental budget, including building custom AI agents and implementing generative engine optimization ahead of broader market adoption.

Before Dynamic Campus, McAvoy spent 16 years as a strategic advisor to enterprise technology companies, helping them build and execute partner-led growth engines with an average client retention of more than eight years. His work has included channel success and GTM strategy for Avnet Applied Computing, a $2 billion operating group, as well as global marketing leadership across nine countries for Fortune 500 clients at Brodeur Worldwide.

At MyWave, McAvoy leads global go-to-market strategy, partner ecosystem success, and category positioning. He is responsible for establishing MyWave’s market narrative as the trusted execution layer for AI-driven business processes, and for building the partner enablement and marketing infrastructure that enables global channel partners to sell, deliver, and scale the platform effectively.

“The enterprise AI market is at an inflection point, and most of the noise is coming from tools that help people work faster,” McAvoy explained. “MyWave is doing something different and more durable: replacing entire categories of manual process work with autonomous agents that operate within governed policy boundaries. My job is to make that distinction clear in the market, and to make sure our partners have the positioning, the tools, and the support they need to bring this capability to their clients with confidence.”
